Allie Threlkeld Counseling & Supervision

Allie Threlkeld is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with more than 15 years of experience supporting adults, young adults, adolescents and families. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.Ed. in Counseling from Auburn University. Known for the strong relationships she develops with clients, Allie creates a therapy environment that is warm, supportive, and nurturing. By using a cognitive-behavioral approach, she helps clients identify the belief systems that influence their habits and behaviors. Allie collaborates with clients to establish achievable yet transformative goals, emphasizing the power of habit and the significant impact of small, consistent steps. In her practice, Allie also integrates physical and spiritual dimensions of well-being, addressing physical wellness alongside discussions about clients' spiritual lives, beliefs about God, and the interplay with their emotional experiences. Allie's areas of specialization include treatment for depression, anxiety, teenage issues, relationship problems, parent-child relationships, infertility and postpartum experiences, as well as support during general life transitions. She develops personalized treatment plans for each client, taking into account their individual strengths, background, beliefs, and age. Allie is also a Licensed Supervisor in Texas and enjoys overseeing young therapists starting their careers. Allie has been married for seventeen years. She is involved in a local church and enjoys baking, traveling and exercising when she is not playing Uber driver for her four children.
